The London Borough of Wandsworth is to install hundreds of electric vehicle charging points in lamp posts to encourage residents to purchase electric cars. Councillors will receive a report next week proposing the installation of charging points in 380 lighting columns within two zones – Putney (149) and Battersea (231).
