FirstGroup has reported improved performance in its UK bus business but identified Essex, Greater Manchester and the East of Scotland as areas of continuing poor performance.
In a trading update for the period September 2017 to 20 January 2018, Matthew Gregory, FirstGroup’s chief financial officer, reported like-for-like passenger revenues of the UK?bus business had risen 1.4 per cent.
