Private hire vehicles look set to lose their exemption from the central London congestion charge under proposals published for consultation by London mayor Sadiq Khan.
The consultation also proposes replacing the ultra low emission discount scheme, which applies to vehicles emitting less than 75g/km of CO2, with a more restricted cleaner vehicle discount.
