The London Borough of Hackney is inviting local people to nominate on-street parking spaces that can be converted to ‘parklets’ with planters, benches and even games. Successful applicants will be able to access grants of up to £150 to transform the space. The trial will support 15 parklets, which will be in place for one to six months.
