The woes of Bristol’s troubled Metrobus scheme continue. Many communities felt that they were disregarded when the scheme was being pushed through. Councillors were pushed into decisions that they were uncomfortable with, because of threats of Government funding being lost. Many people are saying that an inquiry should be held now that it is clear the project continues to spawn problems with escalating costs, and given its large environmental cost.
