US car sharing platform Getaround has purchased Drivy, Europe’s largest car sharing platform, for $300m. Drivy, based in Paris, currently operates in France, the UK, Spain, Germany, Belgium and Austria. Of the more than 55,000 cars registered on the platform, 1,400 are in the UK where there are 25,000 users. Vehicles are sourced from private owners and dedicated fleets.
