Nestrans, the North East Scotland transport partnership, is commissioning an update of the Aberdeen sub-area model (ASAM) to take account of the completion of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route in February. Nestrans says a significant data collection exercise is needed to recalibrate the base model to reflect changes in travel patterns.
