Councillors in South Oxfordshire want to explore if the area can keep almost £370m of Government grant for transport improvements if the amount of new housing proposed for the area is cut.

South Oxfordshire District Council’s cabinet last week recommended the course of action as it deliberated the future of the council’s emerging local plan, which was submitted to the Government in March. The full council was meeting to decide on a course of action as LTT closed for press.
