Norfolk County Council has selected a preferred route for the Norwich Western Link (NWL), a dual carriageway connecting the A47 trunk road west of the city with the recently opened A1270 Broadland Northway in the north-west of the city.
The road will complete a new orbital route for the city and improve access to Norwich Airport and to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
