The Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership is expected to approve a new funding package next week for a Very Light Rail R&D centre in Dudley. 

The Very Light Rail (VLR) National Innovation Centre is intended to specialise in research and development into lightweight rail-based technologies of the type that Coventry City Council is planning to use (LTT 08 Dec 17 & 16 Mar 18).
