Transport plan for Tees CA

The Tees Valley Combined Authority’s plans for two new  road crossings of the Tees estuary are explained in a new draft transport plan for the area.

The main cross-Tees road connections are currently provided by the A66 Surtees Bridge and the A19 Tees Viaduct. “The Tees Viaduct in particular is carrying traffic volumes far in excess of its design capacity,” says the CA.
