GO-OP still has train service ambitions

Prospective open access train operator GO-OP says it remains committed to launching services, despite its recent withdrawal of an application (LTT 25 Oct). GO-OP Co-operative Ltd applied to the Office of Rail and Road to operate a service from either Newport or Cheltenham over a core route of Swindon to Castle Cary and then on to Gillingham, Exeter, or Dorchester (LTT 16 Aug).
