Cornwall council is preparing for the launch of its pioneering low bus fares pilot project and a complete revamp to its network of tendered bus routes.

The DfT awarded Cornwall £23.5m for the four-year fares pilot last September (LTT 11 Oct 19). The Department this week invited other councils to bid for similar pilots as part of wider Superbus proposals (see page 5).
