AN ALL-ELECTRIC bus fleet could help reduce, but not eliminate, illegal concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in Greater Manchester’s regional centre, analysis suggests.

The Government’s joint air quality unit (JAQU) asked Greater Manchester’s clean air plan consultants to compare the impact of an all-electric bus fleet with an all-Euro VI fleet of diesel buses.
