Voi is to run a 12-month e-scooter trial in Northamptonshire, working with Northamptonshire County Council as part of government-backed trials. The firm is also carrying out one-year trials in Cambridge and Peterborough. The Northamptonshire trial will start later this month, with 300 Voi e-scooters rolled out initially, but the firm said there was the potential for up to 2,000 e-scooters to be deployed across Northampton and Kettering in the year ahead.
