Plans for temporary bus ‘gates’ to restrict general vehicular traffic in Oxford city centre have been scrapped after a backlash.
Conservative-led Oxfordshire announced the two access restrictions in July as a response to Covid-19. The bus gates were to operate seven days a week from 07.30 to 18.30.
