You may know that Islington (my home borough) is going all-out for low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) at the moment. Shortly after I received the council’s leaflet “Highbury West people-friendly streets neighbourhood scheme – what this means for you”, another flyer came through the door.  Circulated by #LudicrousRoadClosures, it invited me to “stop undemocratic road closures” and told me “do not let the council strip you of your rights”.
