Fees for residents parking permits in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will be linked to the exact carbon dioxide emissions of the vehicle model from April.
Conservative-controlled Kensington and Chelsea believes it will be the first local authority in the country to introduce a per gram charging structure.
