Felixstowe Port makes bid to be hub for hydrogen transport

The port of Felixstowe in Suffolk could serve as a trailblazer for hydrogen fuelled transport. Plans for hydrogen production and  hydrogen transport feature in the Freeport East plans approved by the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, in his Budget statement this week.  

Freeport East covers the Port of Felixstowe and the nearby Harwich International Port, both owned by port operator Hutchison Ports UK, a subsidiary of the CK Hutchison group.
