John Cridland is to retire as chairman of Transport for the North (TfN). He will remain in the post until TfN’s annual meeting in July.
The process to find his successor is now underway, said TfN. During his six years as chairman, the North’s Sub-national Transport Body has launched a 30-year Strategic Transport Plan for the region and developed the business case for Northern Powerhouse Rail.
