More than 3,900 fixed penalty notices (FPNs) have been issued to passengers who refused to wear facemasks on public transport services in the capital over the past year,  Transport for London (TfL) figures obtained by LTT reveal. 

During the same period – from 4 July 2020 to 10 June 2021– 194,000 people were stopped by TfL enforcement officers from boarding services until they put on a face covering. Most complied, said TfL. 

But more than 12,500 people were prevented...
