West Midlands Police has seized more than 100 e-scooters as part of a crackdown on their illegal use. Although E-scooters are legally available to buy, it is against the law to ride a privately owned one in any public place - including roads, parks or pavements - in the UK. The only place a privately owned e-scooter can be used is on private land, with the land-owners’ permission.
