Two new stations being built in Birmingham are rising up from the ground at a rapid pace. Perry Barr and University Stations are key arrival points for next year’s commonwealth Games and both projects are expected to be ready in time.

Perry Barr station was closed earlier this year to allow work to start on a complete rebuild of the station. A steel frame that will support the new station building is now taking shape on site as work continues at pace to get the structure ready for opening...
