Town revival features one way high street and parking removal

The High Street in the Surrey town of Horley could be made one-way, with on-street parking removed, as part of plans to rejuvenate the town. 

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council is now consulting about how it can improve the area with other measures being considered including creating wider pavements, cutting the speed limit to 20mph and installing trees and plants and better seating. 

A new drainage and water pumping system would be installed in the subway to the railway station...
