Nicola Kane is leaving Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to take up a director role at consultant Steer after spearheading innovative new transport planning strategy development in the city region over the past eight years. In her new role with Steer, it is understood Kane will be supporting clients in the North with transport planning activities. She officially takes up her new post in November. Kane joined TfGM in 2014, prior to which she spent three years at Peter Brett Associates as senior associates. Before that Kane spent 10 years as associate director at JMP Consulting. She began her career in 1998 as assistant planner at Goddard Planning Consultancy, after which she spent two years at Peter Brett Associates as transport planner.
