Urban Electric says retractable kerbside charger is ultra-reliable

A total of 124 prototype chargers were installed in Dundee, Plymouth and Staffordshire for Innovate UK and ADEPT Live Labs trials

 

Trials of a retractable chargepoint have demonstrated the viability of ultra-low impact on-street charging. Infrastructure provider Urban Electric says the multi-location trial achieved an official 99.4% average network uptime.
