The four new Regional Transport Teams (RTTs) being established in Wales should reduce the number and scale of appraisal studies and provide a sharper focus on where change is needed, according to Deputy Climate Change Minister Lee Waters.
The RTTs recently replaced what were known as “Metro teams” in three of the four regions. They correspond with the areas of the Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs), statutory groupings of local authorities.
