Car club can no longer use Chichester car park

A West Sussex classic car club has been told they can no longer meet at a Chichester car park.

The Manhood Classic car club was formed in 2010 and has been meeting at the East Beach car park, Selsey, one Sunday a month for the past 13 years.

However, Chichester District Council has issued a formal notice telling the club to stop using the public car park. The council says it is developing a policy on the types of events and activities considered appropriate in its car parks.
