Further trials of ‘simple’ zebra crossings on side roads will explore whether they should be legally allowed. 

Active Travel England (ATE) has awarded £200,000 to West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to research simple zebras off-highway on the University of Warwick’s campus. ATE expects the final report on the trial to be published in 2025.
