DriveElectric: Data shows dramatic variation in the emissions associated with charging an electric vehicle

New technology can help drivers ensure that their electric vehicles are charged using electricity generated with the lowest possible carbon, says vehicle leasing company DriveElectric.

The carbon associated with charging an EV is dependent on the carbon intensity of the electricity generated by the National Grid, which in turn is influenced by the proportion of renewable energy used.
