Chinese automotive manufacturer BYD has introduced its new all-electric double decker bus model customized for the UK market, targeting substantial orders for London where the first examples are set to enter service later this year.
The 10.9 metre model, named BYD BD11, features the supplier’s Blade Battery modules integrated in the chassis to save
weight and space, with a capacity of up to 90 passengers.
