A set of measures designed to cut motor traffic in the Square Mile and encourage more people to cycle and scoot have been approved by the City of London Corporation.

The corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee agreed changes to its Transport Strategy after a public consultation.

The local authority is also seeking to improve air quality and reduce noise by encouraging and enabling the switch to zero emission capable vehicles.
