Transport UK has switched its first London bus route to electric vehicles in an investment partnership with Siemens.

The operator (formerly Abellio) has redeveloped its limited footprint Walworth depot with power infrastructure, maintenance and charging facilities.to support fully electric double decker operation of Route 63, one of the busiest in London, on which the 29-strong EV fleet, will run.
