West Yorkshire Mayor Tracy Brabin has proposed that single bus fares in the region should be capped at £2.50 until the end of 2025. The current £2 cap will remain in place until 30 March 2025, as announced by Brabin in February.

Meanwhile, a DaySaver ticket in West Yorkshire, for any bus and any number of journeys, would rise from £5 to £6 next year.
