A much delayed trial of camera-enforced traffic filters in Oxford is due to start towards the end of next year. The trial was approved in November 2022 but has been held up because of the closure of Botley Road for rail upgrades.

Oxfordshire County Council hopes the filters  – which will ban car traffic on six roads in the city at certain times – will reduce congestion, make bus journeys faster, allow for new and improved bus routes, make walking and cycling safer and reduce...
