Brown: industry response is very important

Britain’s traffic commissioners have begun a new consultation process asking for operator comment on their new strategy for 2009.

The strategy, which has been developed by all seven traffic commissioners as part of their new board arrangements, is designed to implement their ongoing aim for a consistent and strategic approach to their work and reflects their extended priorities as part of the recently introduced Local Transport Act.
