West London terminal for HS2?

Old Oak Common in West London should be the capital’s terminal for a new high-speed line, one of the Government’s high-speed rail advisers said this week.

Former Tory transport secretary Brian Mawhinney makes the recommendation in his report to transport secretary Philip Hammond on how high-speed rail should serve Heathrow Airport.
