Transport for London has outlined how its new corridor-based approach to traffic management aims to smooth traffic flows on some of the capital’s busiest roads.

Twenty-three corridor managers have been appointed to look after one strategic radial, orbital or central London route each and  ensure that vehicular journeys are completed within five minutes of a typical 30-minute journey.
