Consultation?has started on plans for a 3km extension of London Underground’s Northern Line from Kennington to Battersea Power Station in South London.
The consultation is being run by Transport for London and Treasury Holdings, the developer of the Battersea Power Station site. London mayor Boris Johnson gave the go-ahead for the mixed-use redevelopment of Battersea Power Station last year. The full development is dependent on the Northern Line extension being built.
