1,000 spaces completed at long delayed Wakefield mall

A 1,000-space car park forms part of the much delayed Trinity Walk shopping centre  development in Wakefield, which finally opened on 6 May.

Construction of the parking deck had originally started in early 2009, but was delayed when the original developer went into administration. The main contractor Shepherd Construction, along with AREA Property Partners and Sovereign Land, purchased the scheme from the administrators in December 2009.
