Car-free(-ish) housing in Tower Hamlets

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is to introduce a scheme which enables people to retain their right to a parking permit even when they live in a car-free development.

The Permit Transfer Scheme (PTS) will see residents living in social housing who move to car-free developments retaining a parking permit, enabling them to keep their car when they move to a larger social rented home with three or more bedrooms.
