Richmond Council is set to remove large swathes of double yellow lines in six towns in a bid to create more parking spaces for shoppers. The London borough has pledged to remove “hundreds of metres” of double yellow lines in Whitton, Barnes, Teddington, Twickenham, Kew and East Sheen by next April.
