The multi-storey car park at the Halton Lea shopping centre, located near Runcorn in Cumbria, has undergone extensive works to improve its structural serviceability as part of its long-term maintenance strategy. The car park opened in 1972 to serve what was then known as Runcorn Shopping Village, a medium sized shopping centre.
