A SCHISM opened up in the coalition Government this week over plans to expand airport capacity in the South East.
The Liberal Democrats reacted angrily to the news that the Prime Minister was warming to the idea of a new airport in the Thames Estuary and that this would be included as an option in the draft airport policy framework to be published in March.
