Tribunal awards CEO £20,000, but no return to work at NSL

A civil enforcement officer who claimed his employer set ticket quotas has been awarded £20,000 for unfair dismissal. Hakim Berkani, who was a member of NSL’s Kensington & Chelsea on-street team, had told the tribunal that staff were set a minimum target of 10 penalty charge notices a day (PR Feb).

The tribunal had ruled that Berkani was unfairly dismissed because of his opposition to the quota system and his activities as a health & safety representative for the GMB trade...
