Commercial service withdrawals pose headache for Dorset

Councillors in Dorset are exploring ways to retain a number of bus routes that will be deregistered less than a year after the operator registered them as commercial services.

Go Ahead subsidiary Damory Coaches has given notice to withdraw the services on 14 April.

They are five Dorchester town services, the 347/387 interurban routes between Poole and Dorchester, and commercial services on the 103 Dorchester-Wool route.
