Oyster leads way in multi-modal customer-friendly pay-as-you-go

When Transport for London launches its Future Ticketing Programme (FTP) this summer, it will be the first system of its kind in the world. London will be the first city to offer EMV contactless bankcard ticketing across its entire range of transport service, and the first to develop an associated account-based fares system allowing new ticket types to be offered across all modes.
