Morrisons takes delivery of a new car park

A lot of planning went into expanding parking provision at Morrisons’ head office in Bradford

On any given day there can be well over 2,000 people at the head office of retailer Morrisons in Bradford. The site attracts employees, contractors and visitors. When built the offices had capacity for just 1,059 cars, as specified in its original planning allowance. Many head office employees live locally, travelling to work on the bus, car share, cycle or walk to work, but the parking resource still became over-stretched as the supermarket operator’s business grew.
