Heritage railway to run on main line

The Swanage Railway in Dorset is planning to become an open access train operator in order to run services between Swanage, the terminus of the heritage line, and the national rail network station at Wareham. Services could start running in 2014, upon completion of a £3.2m Network Rail project to upgrade the signalling at Worget Junction, where the Swanage line connects with the national network.
