Bus operators in Wales are starting to reduce services and raise fares because the Welsh Assembly Government will not increase Bus Service Operators Grant to cover last October’s 2p fuel-duty increase. The governing Labour-Plaid Cymru coalition took the decision ahead of a review of bus subsidies.
